This Girl Can @ King’s

What is it?

This Girl Can is an incredible campaign for women that goes on throughout the year and aims to get as many women as possible to take part in a variety of sport events and activities. The campaign encourages participation in activities that some woman may not have the confidence or opportunity to do otherwise. All levels and abilities are welcome to join in and celebrate active women across the country and have lots fun doing it!
Last year King’s organised a This Girl Can Week with different activities on offer such as; sport specific sessions like basketball, handball, netball… or taster classes such as “How to Use Free Weights” and morning yoga were available. The week ended with the infamous Neon Rave Run where women sporting neon paint and glow sticks took to the streets of London to take on a 5km. Participants were cheered on by onlooking supports and of course were accompanied by a playlist full of party classics and motivating tunes!

Is it for me?

If you’re a girl and want to workout or try something new and exciting then come and join us!

How do I take part?

All events will be advertised through all relevant Kings social media sites and around campus, so keep your eyes peeled for any information throughout the year.
